DK Find Out! is a free online encyclopedia with interactive pictures. Though it does not have as much information as World Book Online, it's a great place to quickly look up answers to common questions.
This link will take you to the POWER Kids Portal from Power Library. Look for the Book Flix logo to enter the site.
Book Flix is a resource that offers students in Pre-K through grade 3 pairs of classic video storybooks and nonfiction eBooks on a large variety of topics.
You will need to enter your public library card barcode to access this site. If you don't have a public library card, you can visit your local public library to sign up for one. Or, you can sign up for an eCard access number online, which allows you to access the many online resources from Power Library, like Book Flix.
